Sorry John, I should have pointed out I did get your point and agree - happens all the time with regards people making decisions, they can choose to listen or not but at this point I am just trying to form my own opinion.
I don't know enough about the whole issue but I am interested to learn. I suppose what I am saying is at the outset I was opposed to the idea when I read some stuff about it - mainly due to the location and wondered why there has to be another one in Kintyre - why not somewhere else for example etc? In addition I could not see the benefits of another wind farm other than small (but valuable) employment in the area. Perhaps a wind trust is another plus but only to a certain area (us Southerners don't get any of it![]()
So I'll remove the Pros and rephrase my question;
What are the benefits of having
1. environmentally sustainable energy
2. a more sustainable rural community (???)
3. economic benefits to those directly affected
Really just trying to get some debate on here again as it has been absolutely naff lately!
