Well done to the Thursday night Jogscotland members who all did exceptionally well last night. The Intermediate 2 group covered 3.5 miles in under 42 mins, with a couple of steep inclines included in our route.

Next week we are planning to increase the distance by 0.25 of a mile while adding a little speed training in too!

See you next Thuesday at 6pm!

What a beautiful cold crisp and peaceful morning it was yesterday for our training session up and around Lussa Loch . Seemed like everyone had a good run except poor Ninja...hope you have recovered okay  Great to see Ali join us this week but still no wee Tilly .

Next week we plan to head out to Machrihanish again . Leaving from the carpark towards MAchrihanish Farm....round the Bruntling loop (spelling ??) which takes you out at Drumlemble school , then back to the carpark. Approx 6 miles .. once again everyone working at their own pace. :)

Missed you yesterday Fioan28 for our wee blether but weans come first .

Hi guys glad u all had a good run it was a lovely morning just wish i could motivate myself more got up looked out the curtains so how lovely it was but then went back to bed to rise again at 9am to get ready for the gym. Managed a good workout there and 5k so was quite happy with that. Looking at your schedule for this coming Saturday not sure my legs would manage six miles is there a short cut for those like me.
One of these mornings i might shock myself and others by "rolling out my bed", and turning up

Anyway while on i would also like to say how well Monday night intermediates ran again this week as a group we completed the first half of the 10k although i changed the route slightly and we ran up High Askimol to Fort Argyll so that allowed for some hill training also. Everyone in the group made a fantastic effort and all managed the hill.

Hi tilly

You can still join us as we same rule applies 30 mins out and 30 mins back at your own pace so you can turn and come back the same way but if you carry on round the loop its 6 miles . No excuses now ...

Great to hear your group advancing well Tilly and Joan ...well done .

Moi introduced our group to some Fartlek training , a first for all of them , and from feedback at then everyone 'enjoyed ' it . :D We did a warm up mile , 2 mile fartlek , one mile cool down.

Think some hill training on the cards for next week.

Ali and mine's beginner group are doing well, we did 2.8 miles in total. Mainly doing 3 min runs with 2min walk - I think.

But progressing really well and I'm sure they enjoy it even when I maybe forget and sneak an extra 30 seconds on!
