I seem to be reading him all out of order as well Bill. Right now I`m reading Say Goodbye, by Lisa Gardner, not bad so far. I`ve read 3 others of hers that I`ve really enjoyed.

James Patterson's latest ,just released in paperback,Sail.
As with all Patterson's books if you start at lunch time you will be finished before the six o'clock news.
This one is co-written with Howard Roughan, and runs along the same formula as all Patterson's previous thrillers. So if you enjoy his novels this one will not disappoint.

Has anyone read The Bone Garden, by Tess Gerritsen? If not, I can highly recommend it. I love her books, but this one is a bit different, flitting back and forth between the present and 1830. I know she`s a doctor, but she must have done a fair bit of research for this one.

Even though there was poolside distractions 8) I still managed to just concentrate on my book.

ON the plane over I read Michael Connelly's latest paperback "The Brass Verdict",as all Connelly's books a first class story.

Karin Slaughter's debut novel from 2001 "Blindsighted was also an excellent story. As was Robert Crais's debut from 1998"The Monkey's Raincoat".

Am now reading Scarpetta by Patricia Cornwell. She`s gone off the boil a bit lately, but this isn`t too bad.

Congratulations on the job Ags!
I`m still reading Scarpetta, then the next in my pile is Bones, by Jonathan Kellerman.
Am amassing as many books as I can, going away in 4 weeks, need reading matter until then, plus at least 2 or 3 to take with me.

"The Trophy Taker"a debut novel from Lee Weeks(another woman :<> ),described on the cover as "the female James Patterson".

Detective Johnny Mann of the Hong Kong police is fighting against Triads,a serial killer and sadistic rapist.

Will certainly be looking out for her second novel "The Trafficked".

Just finished In the Dark by Mark Billingham, A review states " a story with a twist that I can guarantee even vetran crime aficionados won't see coming".......either I am really dim or the twist really wasn't that good......no smart comments please :D I had a wee trip to Waterstones yesterday and picked up a new Denise Mina (signed copy) called Still Midnight, One Day by David Nicholls and A puppy called Aero by Liam Creed.....not quite sure where to begin, I have new Karin Slaughter, Tess gerritsen, Simon Kernick and Carlos Ruiz Zafon to also get through.....HEAVEN!! :D

At the moment I`m in the middle of the first in a Tess Gerritsen omnibus, Gravity, and the other half is Bloodstream. I always enjoy her books. Bones, by Jonathan Kellerman, was up to his usual standard.

Am in the middle of my second Lee Child book, Nothing to Lose, and loving it! Wish I`d discovered Jack Reacher ages ago, thank you Ags for putting me onto him.
