Ninja ....where do you suggest we start if we want to reach the Loch as would like to show those who have never been there before how beautiful it is up there ....I know 30 mins wont be enough for some of us (me included) ...a good excuse to miss those hills before hitting the gate .

To be honestly Pans lass I would say start them at the gate the 1st time around, even the first hill from the gate to the mast will kill most of us, you also have the choice of doing the long easier loop up to the mast too, thats the track that goes straight on when you go through the gate, but at least that way everyone should get to the loch and see the views, in fact reaching the boat house should be a possibility from there for some runners, thats where the best view is from.

Got to agree Ninja ...know the two routes well .... the first hill after the gate is a killer in itself and would be enough to contend with , the track to the left after gate is also an option , we can decide on the day and like you said everyone gets the chance to reach the boathouse. Spent many childhood days up there

Will post this in its own thread too, now that DJD has brought it to mind about the handicap series, can I remind everyone who has ordered numbered running tops for this these races, that they should be arriving by the end of this week. All payment is due when I collect these tops, so if you have ordered one ,please let me have your £14 as soon as possible.

Fartlek was indeed great fun, I'll have to lengthen my stride so I can count fast enough, don't think it would work in french. Can't make thursday but will be back for more next Tuesday.

Really enjoyed the Fartlek session tonight with katfer and co. It was a tough warm up mile into the fierce icy cold wind however so glad to have it on our backs for the 45 mins Fartlek training , perfect timing Katfer as my Garmin clocked 46 mins when I finished . Cant believe I said I enjoyed it but obviously the endprphins had kicked in by then .

Thursday sounds good so plan to be there. Endorpins must be still working

Great support from everyone tonight , thanks girls. :)
