Great - hope the pavements have defrosted a bit by then!

Are the times the same as the last block?

Although not officially starting until next Saturday, a few of us are meeting outside Aqualibrium just before 9am for a 'longish' run if anyone is up for it (weather permitting  )

It changes all the time but was thinking around 7 or 8 miles this Saturday if you are up for it SCD? Although we could always doa route that allows people to cut off if they want to do less or add on more?

mmmm.....right, okay, start at the Aqualibrium, across the esplanade, by Dalintober beach and I'll cut off at my house. You all continue to run to Peninver and back and I'll have double square sausage rolls, onions, cheese with brown sauce and cans of Irn Bru ready for you all on your return! :D

No seriously, thank but need to get some runs under by huge belt again and perhaps I'll manage in February sometime. 8) Saturday mornings are a good time that is how too.

Keep up all the good work with Jog Scotland. You all do a great job. :D

Thanks Ninja, we braved the pavements and road as we were there at 9 and it looked ok. Went out past drumlemble and it was fine, not slippy at all thank goodness! Managed to clock up 8 slow miles, really enjoyed it.

No bother katfer, we waited for 10 mins in case you were coming but then headed out. Did you manage a run later?

Didn't manage my run yesterday but braved the bitter cold wind this morning and did 5 miles. Still finding it a struggle but hopefully over the next few weeks it will get easier. Legs and lungs suffering from shock.

Good turn out last night for Jog Scotland's first session of 2010 ....24 joggers turned up to brace the elements . It was great to see some new faces and of course old ones too !!

We split into our three groups with Moi and i taking the advanced group this time . For the first night we thought it was best to break the group in gentle with a nice comfortable distance of 3.5 miles however everyone was keen to do more so we ended up covering 4.2 miles . A good start to the block . Well done girls ....now the hard work begins .

Joan and Kareen lead group 2 and Alison and Isla lead group 3 . Seems everyone had a good run . :D

Beginners had a good night with Alison and I, we started last night with 30 sec run and 30 sec walk which suited well for our first night out with a few new faces in beginners.

Clocked just over 2 miles and everyone did really well especially braving the elements last night!!

Hi everyone later posting this week. First night back for the intermediates went really well everyone completed just over three miles, the christmas goodies didn't seem to hinder anyone to much. Well done to Bruce who slotted in nicely with all the women for his first run. Hopefully he'll keep coming back and not be put off with all these women chattering
Joan and myself will be leading this group and with a bit of effort from all the group will be ready for the MOK in May.
Well done again everyone.
Keep jogging
Tilly :D
