Good turn out for such a wet evening for our first night back at JS . :D I

It was great to see some new faces and of course our 'old' regulars. Everyone looked ready to commit to the 10 week block with their own goals in mind. :)

For those hoping to enter the MOK , just a reminder its filling fast , so enter now to avoid disappointment !!

Good run down to the sheep fanks, and a bit, making 7 miles or so. Moi in great form and went on to bag a few more fast miles. Hope to feel less like a cart horse next Saturday.

Hi folks

We have decided to cancel JS tonight due to the wind. I will go at aqualibrium to let anyone who turns up know. Be back as normal next week.

Hello all,
It was great to meet Gail, Joan and Karen yesterday at the jogscotland refreshers course. What could have turned out to be a disappointment due to the fitness coach letting the course down turned into a networking, ideas sharing and supportive session. I really enjoyed meeting like minded people who despite very different groups/demographics all had the same basic goals in mind....we even managed a run, the route is posted on my blog. I run the Inveraray jogscotland group and Gail suggested that you may be interested to see our FB page and blog. We use them both to post any information relevant i.e. training feedback, distances run, up and coming events, race reports, interesting web sites/ top tips. Please feel free to join/ comment on either...and if anyone is passing through Inveraray on a Tuesday night at 7pm swing by the school and join us!

Hi Fiona

Thanks for posting !!

It was great to meet you too along with Jim from Islay and Bridget from Dalmally :D I know we were all disappointed our instructor let us down however I think Willie young saved the day and it ended up a good session as we bounced ideas of each other , shared stories and got sound nutritional advice from an expert on refuelling the body before, after and during a run . Very interesting session and I could have listened to her all day , so thanks Willie for organising this at such short notice. :) It was also nice we managed a 4.5 mile run along the seafront together .

Thanks also for posting you link to your FB page/blog , great to read what you group has been 'up' to and us fellow joggers can can follow your blog with interest and hopefully we can link up again at some point .

See you at the MOK if not before. :D

Ps Was shattered when i got back but managed to enjoy the Burns Supper without yawning too much

Hi folks,

Know someone who would like to come along to Jog Scotland for the first time, does she have to wait until next block starts or can she come along on a Monday night?

Katfer, we don't usually like new people joining half way through a block especially if the person is a pure virgin however if she or he has done some jogging/ running before and can pick up where we are at with the beginners then they are welcome to come along and join in at the stage we are at just now . If not we start the new block end of March and they are welcome to come along then . :)

Thanks Pans Lass and yes she has never really done any jogging etc before so probably would be best to wait until next block.

Thanks for info.

hey joggies

I dont know if you have been reading the other threads or not but there is a wee challenge out there for you beginner/intermediates on Gigha. A cheeky wee 5k on the lovely island with some fantastic hospitality and support will get the form going nicely in time the MOK in May.

jogleaders will have info so ask them.
