2nd wk in and well done beginners again, though not as many tonight, not sure whether the thought of the rain coming on put our new members off but remember it is only a little rain. All in all the beginners walk/jogged just over 2 & a half miles so brilliant effort.
Good luck to our speed demon moving up to intermediate on Thursday we know u can do it, this level will challenge you more.

Look forward to next wk cheers Moi for your help.
Tilly :D
Hope our new members are back next week.

Well done to those Jog Scotties who turned up for last nights training session in that nasty weather . I know fartlek training was new to some of you but it looked like you all got out of it what you wanted and pushed yourselves that bit harder . Good team work !! I am sure some of you were amazed at how many miles you had covered by doing training this way . Well done !! :D

Hey Joggies

a bitof a begging letter here i have been training hard for the last 4 months running many many miles in preparation for running the Dublin Marathon on 25 October 2010 in aid of the local MS Society. The group have had all funding withdrawn and really need public backing to keep this vital support group on the go for the many MS sufferers in South Kintyre.

I have been so busy running and working that i haven't really got into the fundraising :-( - I have drawn up a lotto of numbers and for £2 a go I have a lucky dip of times - the person who draws the time out closest to my finishing time wins £50. Problem is with a week to go I havent really got off the ground!!!

If anyone would like to pledge a few pounds for my many weeks of pain i would be really grateful, also if anyone could take my fundraiser to their workplace and sell a few tickets for me I would also be very, very grateful xxx

cheers folks xx

Fiona, as you may be aware, I lost my mum when MS got too much of a grip of her. Stick me down for a tenner. Great cause and best of luck !

Thanks Pans Lass, I will be running mile 10 for Jog Scotland Campbeltown - wouldn't be doing this without the friendship and support of JS over the last 4 years or so.

I realise the JS block has finished til Jan but thought I'd just put a wee note onto invite anyone wishing to run off their extra pounds after xmas and before the new year celebrations begin.

SLOG IN THE SAND 10K, DECEMBER 28TH

CRC will be hosting a 10k fun run on Westport beach on the public holiday Tuesday 28th December at 12noon which is hoped to be a fun race to end 2010. Race times will be recorded and entries will be taken on the day, £3pp. All welcome.

Some refreshments will be provided afterwards. Any proceeds of the race will be split between CRC and a local charity.

PM me if interested.

Many thanks
