What a glorious morning .....great day for the KWR ...just hope its not too hot but its better than the wind and rain...no complaints i am sure .

The LSR goup this morning headed down to the sheep fanks, back to town , then headed over to the ship yard...8 miles at that point ....continued up the 'Water' brae ...down high askomil and back to the community centre ...10.2 miles. :D Good running from everyone and sorry NJ for the 'push' but knew you could do it and I needed that push too

Good luck to Stewart , Elaine and Darren who are running the Lochgilphead 10k tomorrow. 8) Glutton for punishment guys

Well done Saturday group again always putting in lots of effort. Pans Lass saw you passing the house this morning with NJ looked like a nice morning for your run, also lots of other JS runners out and about this morning. Everyone putting in the effort with the 10k coming up, hoping to go for a wee run myself this evening. hopefully it will be a bit cooler than it is at the minute.

just a quick well done to all who did the 10k trial this week, although it seemed to go on and on and on.....

we are all ready so bring it on :D

remember kill the training from now on in - just a few miles no more attempts at big distances gang - my suggestion is

saturday 2.5 - 3 miles easy pace, monday - 2-3 miles easy with a wee half mile tempo popped in somewhere and thursday 2-2.5 miles easy and rest from there on in. :D

this is purely for the girls and boys of jogscotland that are in moi and my groups as i know the level you are all at :D

we have all trained hard and should reap the rewards but we all need to learn also that "rest" is a crucial part of training :D so enjoy it

Hi beginners group doing well also tonight roughly 2.5 miles from (Kirk St out to mile end on West Rd back down along High St and down by Princess St to new quay and up and back to red cross hall) managing to jog for 4 mins at times with 1 min walk in between. Amazing how everyone progresses. Keep up the good work beginner group and you'll soon be up with the next group.
Tilly :D
Missed Lindsay tonight as she is studying for a maths exam on Thursday good luck Lindsay fingers are crossed for you.

Thanks to fiona28 for providing the chip an dip which went down a treat ....

Cant believe only 3 sleeps to go .....could feel the excitement in the groups tonight . Good Luck everyone and sleep well .
