Unfortunately Jog Scotland was cancelled tonight due to the adverse weather conditions ....sorry to those who turned up but we felt it was not safe to go out in that fierce wind. Hopefully it will have calmed down by Thursdays JS. :(

This Thursday Fiona is planning to take the groups out at the usual 6.30pm for a 30 min jog followed on by a 30 min aqua fit session at 7pm so bring your cossies if you fancy it . :D

Please remember if you are available after JS Thursday to help pack the MOK goody bags please meet at the Community Centre around 7.45pm , your help with this is much appreciated as many hands make light work. Thank you in advance if you can help with this. :D

yes folks, look out the cossies or you can come in with light shorts and t-shirts. I have recently qualified as an aqua instructor so want to try out some deep water moves on the unsuspecting  I have to admit I didn't rate it myself before doing the course but OMG it is hard work, we will enjoy :D

You are most welcome Carmen, really enjoyed putting you all through your paces and laughing at you all battling with the floatation

All the best to all our girls and boys this MOK Run, you have all trained really hard and I believe you will all get the rewards you are looking for. See you all at the warm up.

Extra special mention to one of our crew Jacqueline who is doing her first half marathon on Sunday, go girl xx

The jogleaders have a meeting tomorrow night, and Jogscotland will start back next Monday and Thursday. I am sure details will be posted after tomorrow's get together.

Hi everyone should have updated this last Monday and never got round to it and was too busy through the wk supporting my eldest daughter as she proudly gave birth to a healthy little girl on Friday the 9th. So i'm now one proud Granny.

Lovely to see such a good turn out last Monday, great to see old and new members making the effort to come along and join in. Beginners section would have had around ten joggers some old members coming back and some new members so welcome. This section jogged along nicely for their first night with a 1min walk 30 second jog down to the cemetary and on return a 1min walk with a 1 min jog. So well done beginner group very pleased, can see u all upping your pace quite quickly, 2.5 miles completed, excellent.

Hi all, well I dont have as grand an excuse as Tilly for not reporting on last week till now - thank goodness

First week was a wee trial to see where we all were after the summer to blow away the cobwebs and didnt we do well. Three odd miles continuous at a very good pace :D

This week training began with some hill intervals for the advanced group  Didnt they embrace it, they didnt know they had it in them but Trudy and I pulled it out of them. Supreme effort from all - excellent work and already asking for more next week!! :D

Well done girls.

Hi there thanks to our Thursday night jog leaders who swapped nights with us who were away at the GNR. Wee update on Thursday night beginners, everyone ran very well, route was out to Stewarton and back beginning with 1min walk, 1 min jog. Group were nice and steady with this, on way back from Stewarton we upped to 1min 30 secs jog with 45secs walk everyone coped very well with the changes. Can see this group upping pace, distance and time very quickly. 3.26 miles completed.

Well done again.

Hi everyone, Monday night joggers did extremely well, though not as many joggers this week, not sure if thats down to 'Class 83' reunion at the wk end. Route this week was along esplanade up by Dalintober beach, up High Askimol, well done everyone as all hills are a struggle especially at the start, down through Fort Argyll, along Low Askimol, over High St to Dellwood turned and ran down towards Longrow then went along Kinloch Rd back to the Aqualibrium. Run covered 3.03 miles. 1min 30sec jog followed by 45sec walk.
Again well done everyone. Hope to see all back again on Monday 3rd Oct.
