Tracing my Uncle

Postby Stewart30 » Fri Jan 26, 2024 9:25 pm

Hi

My uncle was sent to Campbeltown during the war. I know all his history apart from the adoption part (which we don't know if he was adopted.

Name George Spence
Born 1941
Place Glasgow.

Unsure when he was sent up north, and Bernardo's won't give me any information, as he has to initiate this himself.

Sadly my uncle George passed away, I have managed to contact his children which he has two, both born whilst uncle George was serving with HM Forces,. Then he moved to carry on his career with the Police force.

Both myself (nephew) and Darin (Son) would love to trace this part of my uncles life and to thank the family who looked after him during this part of his life. And also let them know how his life actually turned out. As I have no doubt in my mind they had a massive impact on my Uncle George.
A
Any help would be greatly appreciated
