South Kintyre Sports Council are hosting a Sports Awards Ceremony and Dinner Dance on Saturday 2nd October in Stronvaar Bowling Club to recognise the great sporting achievements of individuals and clubs over the years. Prizes will be awarded under 5 categories and we are looking for the public to vote. A shortlist of nominees will then be put forward to a mixed judging panel who will decide on the winner.  
It is anticipated that it will be a great night where club members and the south kintyre people can come together to celebrate the sporting achievements of the area. Tickets are priced at £15 which will include dinner and entertainment that will be provided on the night by local band The Twisted Melons.
There will be prizes awarded to winners. You can nominate for the following categories:

· Sports Person of the Year (over 18) sponsored by Mach Dunes
· Service to Sports Award sponsored by Springbank
