2012-11-04 Fun Fours in Campbeltown

Unfortunately due to the miserable weather conditions on Sunday morning teams travelling from Oban and Lochgilphead cancelled their planned trip to Campbeltown. The main concern from the hosts here in Campbeltown was whilst the pitch will be fine (on the AWP) the young kids could get soaked from the wintery conditions. Tarbert, decided to wait to when they planned to meet and were keen to come down and play even for a short period.

Typically, the weather started to ease off by noon and had stopped by the planned 12.30 start. However, five teams from Campbeltown and two from Tarbert enjoyed a round robin format playing each other once in 9 minute matches.

Despite the cold weather everyone seemed to enjoy themselves as the 2004-05 (P3-P4) age group played fun fours on the All Weather Pitch in Campbeltown.
