Railway relecs apear to have been moved?

I recently visited the old Museum looking for a few things I remember being there which where taken off of one of the Argyll class locomotives when they were scrapped in 1933, water sight glass being one of them, but only to find they where no longer there? Does anyone know what has happened to them?
