Hello again from Bonnie Corby, the sometimes English Covid hotspot................

I received a very interesting PM relating to my original posting about the lost sword of Captain Fleming, which was hijacked by the genealogy crowd......................................................

Hi Bill,
I believe you were looking for Capt. John Fleming's sword; it is in my possession.
It has been passed down through my family and was sent out to Australia in the early part of the 1900's to my grandfather. We treasure it and have a great appreciation for the history attached to it.
I can send you photos of it if it will help your with records.
Kind regards,

Ross Eddington.

A fitting end to the search and another display of the power of the worldwide web

Thank you Ross .
I know my Summer'll never come
I know I'll cry until my dying day has come
Let the Winter roll along
I've got nothing left but song
