Just a word of warning. When you advertise a vehicle for sale, cover the number plates. There are clever car "cloners" out there.I made that mistake several years ago and started to get speeding and parking fines from the Glasgow police for a vehicle that had not left my forecourt in Congleton,Cheshire for two months.I reckon that they use the HPI vehicle check system to get the full vehicle details,re-build a write-off or steal a vehicle of the same colour, and then forge a V5 registration document

Roger,
What is the point of covering the registration number in the photo? My car travels all over the country, with the number plate on full view. My chassis number is visible at the bottom of the windscreen. How can having the RegNo on a picture increase the risk?
David, sorry to have hijacked your thread.

I've split this to a new thread as poor David had his original post hijacked enough!

Carry on......
