Campbeltown in the Snow - LIVE webcam

Postby Ship called Dignity » Thu Feb 05, 2009 10:53 am

I've set the webcam up again so you can see the town in the snow - not very often it happens....(but realise it isn't very much compared to other areas 8) )

Unfortuntely, I have dis-abled the pan and tilt tool as the camera is inside the house. However, you can zoom and pictures are LIVE.

To view do the following

Click on http://92.9.243.12/

Click on Login and enter KintyreForum and password is kf2009 - please note the login and password are case sensitive so it is a capital K and F for the username and lowercase for the password. Enjoy 8)

Now click on Single to view

Remember the username and password are case sensitive!

Not enough there yet for a repeat of having to bring supplies in to the town by fishing boat Davie.
I know my Summer'll never come
I know I'll cry until my dying day has come
Let the Winter roll along
I've got nothing left but song

Didn't realise you were that old to remember it. 8)

I can only hope it remains until the afternoon to go sledging. Is there anywhere in Kintyre where it is really thick with snow?

That's cool, what a great view you have. Think we stayed along from there when we were in Campbeltown. Must return, lovely area of Scotland.

I can't seem to get into the webcam, but I do have pictures I captured from the webcam on March 3, 2006 when it snowed there. I miss snow.

Thanks S C D the new style Cam is wonderfull , I can keep an eye on my Uncle Goerge on his nice clean R.N.L.I boat!
If anyone wishes to borrow some snow , there is more than enough in Coal Aston as the great man above decided to defrost his fridge again , so we are all , once again , covered in the white stuff and trying to drag the kids off the sledging field.

It is great to have the harbour view back on line , the Westport Web Cam 'ain't bad either!

SCD is watching you , but i'm watching him

The town escaped the more heavier snowfalls that we had in the country going with ninja's pic and mine which I'll post later.
