I should have added that the Nutty Boys were not dancing to Hugh Trowsers but the Saggy version......who were fantastic entertainment too of course.

On Friday night really thought we'd have to pull the plug on 'Doon The Green'. Early start on Sat morning & the sun was shining. Somebody up there loves oor outdoor events!

Big thanks to the bands, sound crew & kj but especially to the gang who help put it all together (& take it all doon again!) - also bar staff & helpers etc who work away while everyone else is partying - it couldn't happen without you guys - cheers.

A few probs but naebody noticed or cared as most folk just enjoying themselves inc the local nutty boys! Already starting to think about next year

Thanks again - Captain Fat Sparrow!

Great afternoon.....from parade to the end was brill.

Vivien Scotson who sang with THTB and on her own sings backing vocals on Donnie Munro`s Heart of America CD and if you get the chance listen to it ,she has a lovely voice (and so does Donnie) listen to sample tracks of it here
