I know I'll cry until my dying day has come
Let the Winter roll along
I've got nothing left but song

Unfortunately it looks like we are waiting for the death certificate.
This was a great place for locals and those of us who are exiled to exchange views and reminiscences but it seems to have hit the buffers, probably very much because of Facebook where there is an instantaneous reaction. It is very difficult to compete against that.

Unless anyone can come up with some idea to revive it?

I agree but it's very sad. Let's hold on that certificate and see if someone can indeed come up with new ideas.

We certainly don't!

I agree with the other comments regarding the forum - unfortunately I've been rather caught up over the last couple of years. However, keen to give it a push to see if we can get things going. Need others to post too :-)

Ideas welcome :-)

Unfortunately, I have no ideas how to revive a dying forum. :(

Hi All…

I certainly don’t think it’s the death of the Forum…, but what I could say it that it may be the death of ‘General Chit Chat.’ And judging from the disagreeable attitude by some members at times, that could very well be a good thing.

There are soooo many mediums nowadays from mobiles to Facebook that postings on Chit Chat is probably now a little outdated.

On the other hand…
Not even on Facebook can you find so many valued group contents as we see on the Kintyre Forum ! From news, publicity, genealogy, history and jokes etc; there’s nothing better !!!!!

Yours Aye…, Iain.

Thanks Iain - I'd really appreciate if people keep posting and try. I'm going to try and post more but will be focusing on local news events etc

Can anyone help? :-)

Regards

KFN
