Is the bookshop on Cross St. still trading ? Trying to get a copy of the latest Antiquarian magazine no.77, but answerphone only for last fortnight or so. Advice please. Thank-you kindly. Cath & Ian.

The Old Book Shop (on Cross Street) is still trading, but unfortunately issue 77 of the Kintyre Magazine is sold out both there and at George McMillan's on Main Street. I'm not sure what other outlets stock it, but if anyone knows I'd be interested to know, as I'd like a copy too!

Thanks for that Roger. However, I'm pleased to report that issue 77 is back in stock at George McMillan's this morning, and that I was able to get a copy at last. It's an excellent edition (not that the others aren't) and I can understand why it sold out previously. I'm assuming, but can't confirm, that The Old Bookshelf will have it too.
