[b][b]Marie Curie Cancer currently has a Free Wills scheme running across Scotland in conjunction with Connect2Law and local Solicitors. The scheme offers those aged 55 years or over, the opportunity to write a Will or update an existing Will for free during November, December (2013) & January, February and March (2014). Please be aware the number of free Wills that can be written under this scheme is limited, so if you are interested please contact me as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
This scheme offers you the chance to get prepared and is a great opportunity to ensure that your future wishes will be carried out to benefit your family, friends and causes important to you.
Whilst there is no obligation to leave a gift to Marie Curie Cancer Care in your Will under this scheme; we of course hope that you might consider this effective way of supporting us. Remember that a gift can be pecuniary (a set cash figure), residual (a share of anything left), or you could even choose to give a specific item for example, bonds, shares, a piece of jewellery or property - each and every gift will help fund our vital nursing service in the years to come and will be greatly appreciated. Furthermore it won’t cost you a penny today!
For further information on the Solicitors taking part in the scheme please contact Emily Hogg 0131 561 3952 or at emily.hogg@mariecurie.org.uk
Thank you!
