hi, ive been trying this but it just comes up a link rather than the actual photo when trying to post it?

on photobucket i have the option of 4 links - email & IM, direct link, HTML code and IMG code. any idea which one i use? have tried all 3 and it still just comes up with a link rather than the photo? hmmmmm there must be some way lol :lol:

Use the IMG code so you simply click on the 5th box in photobucket for IMG code and it automatically copies the code. You go on here and Ctrl and V (or right click and paste) the code like below without the quotations "" and when you submit your post the photo will appear as below

[img]"http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y30/daviep7/dml/cross.jpg"[/img]

have discovered that its maybe due to the image sizes being too big, so i am resizing on photo bucket and am going to try again :D thanks for your help. im sure all the effort will be worth it as they are fantastic pics and id love to share them with everyone

still can not get it to work, just comes up the link. have resized all the images, one last try.....

You need to resize them to less than 800 wide by 600 high - 700 is ideal width. You have the option to resize in photobucket by editing the photo and changing and overwriting the original.

Alternatively you can can edit them to this size before uploading.

Must admit is the modern era there should be an easier way! :-)

oh the picture has come up when you reposted it! weird! i have resized to 300x240 and still showing just a link so that cant be the problem :evil: demented with it!! lol
