Someone to uplift appliances

Postby francii » Thu Feb 09, 2012 1:12 pm

Hi need someone with a van and maybe a couple of strong people to uplift two old washing machines from my (top floor!) flat and take to the dump...haven't a lot of money but could chuck you a few quid!

See if there is scrap metal dealer in your area.Where I live we have "rag and bone men".They will take them for nothing and weigh them in for scrap.Better than you having to pay someone to dispose.

Thanks for that, Landrover Roger, I did find a scrap metal guy who took washing machine away for free, very happy :)

Just had our scrap metal collected by the guys that Fancii recommended, nothing was too much trouble, would recommend them to anyone in the area.
