Headline act for "Survivors Night" this year will be

“A Few Good Men”

the line up should be

Derek Forbes : Bass (Simple Minds) -
Ian Donaldson : Vocals (H2O) -
Mick McNeill : Keyboards/Accordion (Simple Minds; Rod Stewart Band) -
Mel Gaynor : Drums (Simple Minds/Genesis)
And either
Bruce Watson : Guitar (Big Country/ Casbah Club) or

A superb line up of professional musicians. Look out for the cover versions of all the bands they have been invloved with! :-)

How come the Victoria Hall isn't on their list of venues on the website? I know the tickets aren't on sale yet, but when I went to the same website to try and get proclaimers tickets it didn't have the victoria hall listed and the site's search facility didn't find it either. :?

Logs, i just typed 'Campbeltown' into the search area and it came up within seconds for the Proclaimers. If you look at ticketweb just now it will say 'no matching events found' when you search for Campbeltown. This will change nearer the time.

:D Cool thanks! Maybe I was too late for the Proclaimers ones 'cause if they'd already sold out I guess the venue wouldn't come up...

Logs - we still haven't finalised details with ticketweb yet although they will be selling the tickets, don't know about 25 June I understood it to be about beginning of July.

Just checked this minute & Ticket web still has Proclaimers at the Vic on their site but the 'Buy' icon is crossed out & when you hit it comes up with no tickets available.

If you're having probs getting in try this, then you'll know where to go for your Festival tickets:

Don't go onto Ticketweb.com that's their US site. Use Ticketweb.co.uk

to left of 1st page is 'browse venues by region' obviously it's UK - click arrow to right of this (not the dropdown menu)

on next page you'll see 'keyword search' - type in proclaimers - ignore the date & hit 'search'

next page that comes up should have list of proclaimers dates including the Vic Campbeltown in blue - you can click on this but it comes up unavailable meaning sold out

festival tickets will probably be similar to this - take a look -

when we know more we will be announcing when they go on sale on here & at www.mokfest.com & in the press etc - good luck!

Tickets

Postby MOK Music Festival » Sun May 22, 2005 10:11 am

Lel,

You are correct that all tickets will only go on sale via the internet and telephone sales from ticketweb.

The official date has still to be confirmed for the sale of ticktes as contracts have still to be finalised etc.

However, information on the sale of tickets will be advertised on here, on the mokfest website and in the press. We would like to stress that demand for both Saturday and Sunday night are very very high and both will be sold out very quickly. So keep up to date. If you are registered on here you will receive an update via e-mail.

Regards

PS - Who is the mole in the camp!

Hopefully the tickets will now be going on sale the weekend of 25th June as that is the weekend the Kintyre School Pipe Band are in Ireland for the European Championships.

Large amount of travelling supporters are away with them and alot of people will have trouble trying to get tickets!!!!!

Date has still to be confirmed.

However, whatever the date, it won't suit everyone and this cannot be helped.

Ticketweb should have NOT been selling any tickets!!!!!!

They are not going on sale until the end of JUNE.

Will post more on this once we know what is happening.

Bottom line is you should have not been able to buy them.

As mentioned on here all tickets are not going on sale until the end of June when we would advise everyone.
