Irish singer Carra Dillon, originally in Oige, who played at a couple of the earlier festivals. Amazing voice!

your just shouting out random names now, put a bit of thought in to it, its worth having a look to see which bigger names are starting UK tours in september or october, theres a wee trend for lowkey warm up gigs played in out of the way smaller venues, you never know your luck!

failing that Mr. John Martyn, i'd certainly like to see him again!!!

General - Good one - John Martyn's a fair shout for the Picture House. Think he'd be superb there. Can't remember if I dreamt this or not, but I think someone once told me he's got a connection with Carradale

he does play Wembley Arena and the like these days though .. so it'd need to be a hooruva low key warm up
