Just like to say a big thank you to Willie, Iain and Kenny for their hospitality over the weekend and a big thank you to all the folks who who supported us and made us feel welcome at the" Doon the green " gig on Saturday afternoon. We all had a great time, hope to see you all again.
If anyone has any pictures of Saggy Trousers that they took could they please post them on the Mokfest web site. Cheers. :D

Thanks guys - glad you enjoyed it - been getting great feedback about 'Doon The Green'
- like Chas above the local nutty boys are still dancin!

FIRST TIMER TO CAMPBELTOWN AND WON'T BE THE LAST.HAD A GREAT TIME THROUGHOUT THE FESTIVAL WEEKEND.
HIGHLIGHT FOR ME WAS THE SAGGY TROUSERS SET ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON. BEEN A MADNESS FAN FOR YEARS AND HAVE SEEN THEM LIVE ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AND THESE GUYS HAD IT NAILED.
THANKS TO ALL FOR A LOVELY TIME AND A GREAT ATMOSPHERE.

Not that these guys are no good - far from it - I really enjoyed them. It is just that I think Suggs (aka Graham McPherson) is of good Argyll stock, even if he is a proper Londoner. He might just be interested in visiting the lands of his forebears. Now wouldn't that be a good one for that excellent BBC2 programme: "Who do you think you are?"? Inveraray seems to ring a bell, however, there are also plenty of Kintyre Mac/Mc/Phersons, so maybe the connections spread south. One for the Genealogists?
