i'm listening, i'm hearing and i'm not disagreeing

i'm green with envy everytime i watch a live band, cos i think i can do just as good or better, maybe?

i wish i'd learned to play an instrument but i haven't and now never will, canny hold down strings to make chords so tough luck.

theres no call for middle aged chanters so thats me oot, there was talk last year of a double re-union with two old bands which never happened, if it had then i'd have got my 15mins and shut my face.

anybody that takes me seriously really shouldn't, i've known colin, tracy and dave for many years and always thought tracy was the 4th best singer ever to come out of c/town

anyone can say what they want about me, i'm thick skinned, the reason i avoid the fest. is i don't like the company of people with a drink in them, simple as that!!!!

i can appreciate good musicianship as well as the next man and i hope everyone enjoyed the weekend, those involved should be proud of all they have done over the years.

next year i'll be at survivors night honest!!!!

I did just that & found a 'short' clip of, what I believe are the, 'medal winning' Campbeltown Pipe Band.

If so, it just proves, I guess, that there are excellent musicians living in & around Campbeltown after all!

I've heard Cammie is acknowledged as one of the best singers to come out of Scotland, not just Campbeltown. I dont see him on that list. From what I hear, Chris, Badger and all the rest say Cammie is one of the best singers ever in their opinion, and also that his brother is regarded as the best guitarist out of the town by the people quoted and also the same from quite a lot of people at the Tarbert music festival some time back. Yes?

I've had the pleasure of hearing Chris sing! And met the Badger! (although I doubt he would remember!)
