Martin Kielty here, manager of the Sensational Alex Harvey Band for my sins! I'm working on my fourth book, Big Noise: the Sound of Scotland, which aims to be a character-led celebration of the first 50 years of Scottish rock and pop history.

I'm looking for the best wee stories that demonstrate the character of the Scottish music scene, Onstage, offstage, whether you're a musician, roadie, diehard fan or backroom boy. Only the best, funniest and fascinating aneccotes will make it into the book, so it's about being entertaining...
