Bit too young for me folks but applaud you for getting a band of this stature to the Wee Toon. As WTA says it could help get other bands to the town. Oban certainly is getting popular with bands so don't see why Campbeltown should be any different.

Looks as if it will be Eddie Reader for me.....if I can get a darn ticket! :shock:

What is good about the choice of bands is that there is something for everyone. A music festival should be a festival of different types of music and I think the organisers have done well in that respect this year.

hmm call me a cynical horse but i know whats going to happen here

people will buy tickets cos its the 'cool' thing to do
stand at the stage, try to talk to each other
then complain about the band being rubbish

and idlewild fans, like me, will have to miss out on a ticket

just as well i have contacts

if i put them in i can read the phone number and ring early for my tickets
