The Mull of Kintyre Music Festival are pleased to announce that Eddi Reader will headline the all seated concert in the Campbeltown Picture House this year 2006.

For this concert Boo Hewerdine and Alan Kelly will accompany her.

This promises to be a special night and Eddi is very excited about the prospect of playing in such an intimate venue.

Yes, have to agree Bitter End - will be an absolute cracking gig.

Although not everyone liked it , I thought her Burns stuff was superb and all you people from over the water should buy this CD if you get a chance - some of the tracks are superb!

Anyone know details of when this concert will run from - to?

Will be hard to get a ticket for this - what about putting this on another night too?

I see from your web page Blazin Fiddles are playing on the Friday night. Didn't Eddi play with Blazin Fiddles at the Celtic Connections? Any chance she will perform with them on the Friday night?

The concert starts at 7.30pm with doors open at 7.00pm and should finish around 10pm.

The show that involves Eddi and Blazin` Fiddles also includes various other artists and only happens when all the artists are available. The Festival committee wanted to put on an intimate concert with Eddi and thus booked the line up that is appearing.

As far as playing on the Friday with Blazin` Fiddles, if Eddi is about on the Friday and you see her put in a request and you never know.
