Well done to Fitzer ,all the organisers , marshals and supporters who made this event such a great success !! There was a buzz of excitement felt as soon as we arrived and the very warm welcome we received made us feel special . Thank you .

Not my best run but worth the journey (3hours) to be part of Dunoons first ever 10k event , it was a tough run in the wind and heat ,conditions much like the MOK , but a great family day out for all the family with a 2.5 k kids fun run .

Starting and finishing in the beautiful grounds of Castle Toward helped distract you away from the tough incline at the end and of course the lovely homemade pasta lunch after and goody bag with homemade baking in it also made up for it :D They even had a bouncy castle to keep the kids entertained .

well done again and I hope you sleep better tonight Fitzer , a job well done !!

Hope to be back with a JS WTR bus load next year

Well done to all who ran in Dunoon :D Knowing that area as well as I do I can imagine that it would be a tough one. Would love to have given it a go but was too busy driving in circles in Edinburgh!

Think it's fantastic that our Jog Scot Wee Toon Runners are seen to support so many other events. Looking forward to our two events in Glasgow in September :D

Thanks again Pans for coming to support us. We raised about £600 for the nursery.

Glad to see you had a good time and a good race. We are already talking about dates for next years race.

I really enjoyed the race both organizing and running it, and even managed a PB. I have the race photos on CD and they will be on the website soon.

Cheers Fitzer

Hi Fitzer

Sorry , won't manage the race this weekend due to my ongoing knee injury ....rest I am afraid ....really enjoyed it last year so if anyone looking for a flat 10k this weekend , this is the one . It's a fun day out for all the family and well organised.

Wishing you all the best for Sunday . :D

Sorry to hear that Pans, Hope the knee heals quickly. The race takes place tomorrow so will let you know how it went. Will still be a low key small race as we expect about the same amount of runners as last time.

If any other Campbeltown folk are interested there are still places available, registration is at 11am in Castle Toward Dunoon, race starts at 11.30.

Cheers Fitzer
