Er, what course - land, sea, air or a combination? And when does it start or is that part of the mystery too?

Mystery mystery I wonder i wonder... I thought ileach knew the plan but I tried to get it out of her in the pub last night but assures me she knows nothing! So still clueless.

Willing to give it a shot though! DJD - please add Stuart to the list if that's still ok?

Hi All

Firstly l would like to say that there is no running involved, which some people might be glad and some that may be dissappointed. Two reasons one being is that if you are following a schedule either a 10k or 1/2 marathon then the running side is covered and the 2nd is l did not want to interfere with what you do on the Tues/Thurs sessions.

l want to target the area that we always say we are going to do and the idea just dies a death even befor or during the training period and that's where it stays. So by turning it into a fun thing for charity and open as a group we all might stay the course up to the MoK so we are in better shape than last year.

Intoduction
As you all know this nothing new,the aim is to concetrate on the exercises that will enhance your running perfomance come race day and hopefully give you that bit more strengh on the day.(won't go into the science,l'll leave that for the critics).

Each person as the weeks go by will add an exercise to the program up to we have six exercises then after that the extra one's that are added can be swopped for the one previously stated and you can continue with just six or you can do them all.(that can be your own choice).

Aim

The exercises must be done a minimum of 3/4 times a week.

Starts 8th March.

Entry £1.00

Title ...Follow my Leader

The game will be on the basics of three principles...Diehard....Lightweight...3 x Jokers.

Rules (simple)

1. Diehard = you have completed this weeks exercises

2. Lightweight = you have not (you can leave the game unless you use rule 3)

3. Joker= you want to continue in the game and by playing the Joker you pledge another £1.00.

4.The person/persons who have the most Diehards at the end of 10weeks wins.

Summary

All the exercises are of body weight and can be done at home or the luxury of Fiona's gym.

Any questions feel free to ask.

PS Thats it if you think its crap, that fine and thats not a problem but can you leave the £1.00 as you exit the door for charity and thanks for your interest.

Great idea Donald, maybe get us working those other muscles rather than just our legs?

Do we post on here then and detail what it is, how many reps and such like?

Isla

l will set the motion and format on the first one,Fiona will probably pick it up easily on the next one which is her turn anyway then everone will get the idea quickly.

l will keep a record each week, you could all really, as everyone has to say what was their result for the week.

It is all done on "Honest Mum l did do it"

Yes so far
