What a perfect morning for our run yesterday and good company too !! And Fiona you are SO right when you told us that our cross training will pay off , yesterday was proof of that !! :D

We are thinking of changing our meeting times to 8.30am on a Saturday for various reasons, any objections ,please air your views . Also for those who are still thinking about joining us on a Saturday and have reservations , now is the time to start as we plan to build 'time on the legs' first rather than miles . You decide !! :)

Wee toon runners won't be meeting this Saturday morning for our LSR as most of us are off to Oban to do our jog Scotland refresher course instead. Just need to update our skills and hopefully bring back some new ideas to our JS groups . :)

Going to give this a miss - been working away all week (although did run twice in Inverness). Have a good one.

That was a test this morning girls running into the wind and rain along the moss road but it did feel good ,I think, even though the legs felt like I had just ran a half marathon by the time we finished!

Good run this afternoon Fiona along Westport Beach to Machrihanish and back despite the wind however it's good training for us running into the wind  Millie lying back here on her bed , paws in the air , knackered so i think she enjoyed it too. :)

Good to see we are not fair weather runners as we all huddled together this morning debating on what would be the best route to take to avoid the icy cold wind in our faces but we decided it didnt matter which route we took the wind would get us at some point !! So we headed down to the sheep fanks and continued on down the lear side road covering some healthy miles on those hills , some more than others but I was pleased with my 9.5 miles this morning and the cold wet weather was actually quite nice in the end !!

Well done to Jill for joining us for her first LSR , great to see you moving out your comfort zone :)
