Lynsey managed 4 hours 36 minutes :D and is feeling pretty damn good about her efforts. I have it on good authority that she and her back up team (my other half) are sitting recovering whilst sipping a small glass of champagne as we speak. Well done Lynsey, cracking effort!!!!!!! 8)

Yes - superb, well done to Lynsey, Jennifer and Charlie. Charlie managed 3hrs 11mins, Jennifer 4hrs 40mins and Lynsey as you say 4hrs 36mins. Well done to all of you! 8)

Not forgetting another Campbeltown lass,
Flora Skidmore (Muir) who completed the London Marathon in a time of 3.25.50secs, A very impressive run from a Class of 71 pupil. Well done Flora.

Yes Ninja brilliant time.

Congratulations to Alasdair Campbeltown formerly of Southend who completed the race in 2 hours 58 minutes and 58 seconds! Cracked the elusive sub 3 hour barrier!

Well done to all!

Well done well done well done! Wow it was amazing to watch, must have been fantastic to be part of and what a huge accomplishment to finish the London marathon - congratulations.

Brilliant efforts Charlie, Jen and Lynsey & all others, I was glued to the screen for 6 hours whilst tracking them online - it looked superb - I was so proud of you all, and well done for raising so much for worthwhile causes too. I hope yous enjoyed the celebration afterwards and have a well deserved rest after all your hard training.

I think i even caught a glimpse of Jen and Lynsey crossing the finish line (only a few mins apart) as I turned on to the bbc interactive service where you could watch the finish line only and jumped out my seat with pride when I spotted a glimpse of them!!

I see the rules have changed for entering the marathon for 2011 (phasing out guaranteed places) and anyone who didn't get a space for the last 2 years will get a priority email to get a first chance of entering ballot so hopefully I'll be getting that email anyday now as after watching from the sidelines I'd love to be part of it next year and give it a go :D
