SPORTS DAY
Hopefully most Jnr runners will enter this and experience Lochgilpheads new sporting facility as I cannot see Campbeltown new school having such facilities or close as, chalked in on its plans. Fore sight seems to be elusive to People in charge up the road, and that probably goes to local councillors as well.

Starts at 12noon{Enter from 11.30am}
Events
60metres, 200metres, 400metres, 800metres, 1500metres,
High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Putt and Javelin.
[ 800metres- under 11s upwards. 1500metres- under 15 & 17 ]Competitors can compete in a maximum of 5 events.
[maximum of 3 track events or maximum of 4 field events]
Under 7s – 60metres, 200metres, long jump, soft javelin & obstacle course.
Age Groups
Under 7, Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 & Under 17
Age at 1st September 2016. Under 7s – age on the day – 26/6/2016.

Medals for all competitors Annual Trophies
Trophies for overall winners [1st, 2nd & 3rd] in each age –group.Entry £2

This competition will mark the official opening of the new all-weather jumps area at Lochgilphead Joint Campus. The new facility was funded by a Sports Facility Grant from sportscotland, Mid Argyll Sports Council, Argyll & Bute Council and Mid Argyll Athletic Club.
