Posted: Wed Sep 17, 2014 5:52 pmI recently read an old courier down at the library where it stated a man ran from the head of the new quay to the highest part of the hill and back in 52 minutes.
I would have thought this pretty close to impossible.
It is supposed to have happened just after ww1 so there wouldn't have been so many trees, but still some feet.
Anyone fancy a go at it. I would do it myself but I have a lot on at the moment.
