Plea to Crinan Puffer runners!

Hi, this is a plea to anyone heading to Ardrishaig in the morning for the Crinan Puffer, we've come across to Kintyre for the race tomorrow and my donkey of a husband has forgotten his running shoes!
Would anyone have a spare pair of size 8's that he could borrow for the race tomorrow please?
