B4, it is opposite the paddlingpool on Kilkerran Rd, (first bench) startline around to low Askimol Rd to roughly about the small exchange box (turn point) and back to where one started (3 miles). Flat as a pancake and a 3mile PB tempter.

It is not beyond you,for what I had witnessed while running with the base group when you did and that goes for all runners who just might not have the confidence to have a bash. It is great fun (after the hard work ) to amongst your fellow runners who will and do have a great banter about it once they catch their breath. Also everyone is equal and they pass on encouragement at some point of the run.

It will be good to see you there, come race night.

Thanks

Thinking on having the 3mile handicap series race night out & prizegiving either on 14th or 15th October, would be good to see what night suits everyone so we can set a date.

DJD - are you ok with them dates for getting the points done etc? Spoke to Elaine & Rab, so we thought we would see if it suits or not.

We think the light will be okay for a 1900 hrs start next week, for we were thinking of bringing the race forward 15min. Most people are there well before the start time, so once the runners are mostly accounted for, meaning the early starters we will get the show on the road.

Still time to let or pm Suzy or myself that you would like a crack at this 3 mile PB course or even pop down and watch the race as a whole and put it on the back burner for next year.

Well folks,it seems ages that it all started at Pennygowan and here we are the last one for 2011,so well done to all that have given their all on the 5 races or even on some of the races for this year.We hope you have enjoyed them as much as we have putting them together each month for you's to run for your monthly personal battles, but most of all, the enjoyment of getting together with your fellow runners and having the banter that we hear.

Oct is Munich, Nov has the Tin 5, Dec, has the Slog, Jan, has the Burner and Feb, the Frenzy and what ever in between, so lots of running and races still.

Well done all,

Thanks

Thanks Donald. I hope that everyone has enjoyed it as much as I have--how time flies. This'll be my first year doing all five. Hard to believe that summer has come and gone already. Thanks to you and all of your aides for "running" this again this year.

To all participants---prize night is coming up and we usually do a whip round, to enable us to buy medals for the winners. i would reiterate that this event is run solely by Donald and has absolutely no funding so we have to do it ourselves. Anyway, if you are up for it, can you please take along £3 on Tuesday night and I will collect the money. I'll put a list on here so that everything is above board.

Thanks

Hi Donald
Think I might have a bash at this one just for the craic - no midgies and no hills so I don't have any excuses!!

Great race tonight from all, results will be up Thursday sometime (got to be checked). Can you confirm it was 3miles, obviously some will differ from others (garmins). We should invest in a wheelometer to be exact.

Lots of respect to you guys and girls tonight.

Thanks to Suzy and Ralph and great to see Katfer there too.

Can confirm 1 result, young Rachal MacPhail did 29min 54s,well done to her.

Thanks

Yip, well done to all who have taken part in this years Race Series, whether it be one race or all five, the atmosphere tonight was fantastic and I enjoyed being part of it. It was also great to see so many new faces to the Race Series this year and hope you have enjoyed it and will return for next year....god knows what DJD's got planned for that

Have uploaded some of last nights photos to the CRC facebook page but I have no idea how to put them on here or the website so I will leave that to the IT whizzes.

Now for the night out :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I am on the first glass of wine, of that very lovely big wine hamper you all so generoulsy gave Sarah and myself last night.Naughty of you all, but very very well appreciated, thankyou.

Thankyou to Robert and Suzy for making the start of the night and with the company of all that attended, a great and enjoyable night, you are the most welcoming and comfortable people to be around with and without wishing my life away, look forward to the next year presentation.

Many thanks all, would of loved to been able to have ventured on to the next stage of the party for I know you would have been on even more form than when we all try to run. (lol).

Cheers

Donald
