Wee Toon Runners Handicap Series 2011

So far 8 runners have responded, 4 Westport, 4 for Tomaig, hopefully some more will have a say. I will put the details come Friday night, on what ever course that has the edge come six o'clock that night.

NJ, Bellochantuy not on for this year (sorry).

Even with only two races left, new runners are welcome to come and have a run. As usual, can you let Suzy or myself know so we can add you to the start list. There is also the last minute decision option,and that is just turn up.

To the base group runners, the handicaps can and will improve your running, for they have that race feel mode about them and before you know it,you are racing and competing against all and also your fellow training club mate's.So we hope to see you there.

Well done everyone tonight, it is always a tough one these handicap races and I for one know how they hurt,so for sure you have my respect in taking them on.

Great turnout tonight,and well done to the new guys and girls, you did youselves proud. We had 41 runners tonight which goes to show that it has a great appeal, which I know, is the want to run with your fellow runners and be amongst the banter and fun after the hard work is done.Great to see.

My thanks again goes to Suzy and Alison for their help in making it run smoothly as it does.I will do the times asp,then pass them over to Suzy to check and hopefully post them up in the next day or two.

One to go,see you all there in 4 weeks time.

What a fantastic event last night DJD. 41 folk participating. Every one ready to give their all. It was really great to see. This event just gets better and better.

Thanks to you, Alison ,Suzie for the organisation, and all the participants. All we have to do is run.

I can't remember my elapse time so can't confirm clock time, (actual time 20.19) but my race position is correct, (36) unfortunately

Congratulations to Cameron. The first time I saw him, he was trying to dive off a ten foot bridge into a two foot deep burn. You must be doing something right..........................

As before, anyone wanting to have a bash at this, can you plese just let Suzy or myself know before the night and we will try and slot you in around a time that will credit you.

This venue is a PB course, as you all know its as flat as a pan cake and a freebie of a race for all, so you are welcome to run.
