Well done to everyone tonight, was a lovely night but warm. Was a good sight when everyone started coming down the straight heading for home, started to panic thinking how would I manage to clock you all.

Thanks to Rab, Jocelyn and Alison for your help and support, wouldn't have managed it other wise. Will sleep well tonight.

Hope you are enjoying your holiday Donald.

Thanks everyone

Hats off to you Ladies, heard great reports about the race,so my big thanks to you all, I knew that it was in safe hands so my time away was relaxed and enjoyable. Many thanks again Suzy, Alison, Jocelyn and Rab. The future for this event is even more secure with or with out me. ( a good sign )

The next race is the runners choice, either Westport or Tomaig or Davaar (subject to tide) please let us know.

My vote would be Westport, reason being, it will create a more off an even race among you all, also if you ran it last time, it will show how much you have all improved when the going gets tough, but it's your choice.

Thanks

Hi DJD--I hope you enjoyed your holiday.

My vote goes to Westport, as well.

Last Tuesday's event was always in safe hands with Suzy, Jocelyn and Alison. Went like clockwork.

thanks Rab,"well" the song by the Stereophonics "Caravan Holiday " would sum it up on the weather (lol).

Now that l have a good look at the last race results (it being a flat one),and seeing everyone's handicap is settling down, especially for the ones that have ran more than one race. I will introduce the 30 second rule for the last 2 races on reflection of what l have down for you on paper.

The points table is looking very interesting, but like last year it is subject to change that it will count towards the 5 Race Series final total. Just to remind you of it. One has to have ran 3 races or more to have scored points and your best 4 scoring races out of the 5 are your final tally.

With 2 races to go, a fair few are in for a shout for the honours, but it is more about keeping it fun, meeting up with your fellow runners, and of course taking a few friendly scalps along the way, with trying to keep up the training against your nearest rival. Most have improved and the evidence is all there to see.Well done.

thanks

Come on folk, voice your opinion vote as it is your choice. Aye Kenny, I can see your point Tomaig is a tester and more interesting,it also has a good variety of ups and downs on it's terrain, yes another good choice of venue.

4th gen, maybe would like another crack at path finding himself around the course (lol),you might just get his vote on your side.

Both venue's have their appeal to you runners,so lets us know before the weekend leading up to the race.

Thanks

MSB

A quick descripton, Start up at the track to the left at the top of Tomaig Rd. Head up to the mast which is a turn point, back down to the top of Tomaig Rd. Turn right out towards Bengullion, traverse around it in a loop (on a better marked route than last time).
You then rejoin the main track back to the start point omitting going back up the mast.

Hopefully get the route up on Mapometer when l have some time and pass it over to stuart/davie to put it up on the club site/forum

hope this helps you out a wee bit.

Thanks
