Laggan Hill is a good one,but you get your feet wet and on certain parts it is (for some) a bit dodgy underfoot Scott knows the route,if he is there he will show you it.

Other than that, the best runs are like a good night out,(made up on the spot).

Have a good one.

Aye, the laggan hill route is a good one. Bit of a mix of road, track and x country!

I won't be there on Saturday/ Sunday, heading down to Manchester for the weekend, would quite like to do it next weekend?

If I'm fit on Sunday, I'm going running in Manchester, anyone been before???

I know a Rangers' spy when i spot one right enough.....what a clever disguise to try and invent yourself as a bona fide runner, when in reality you're here to spy on us afore the gem on wednesday.

Hope to make that one next week,Scott.

Rab,l will have to do my one at 8am tomorrow, Campbeltown up to Lussa Dam, exactly a 12 miler, a tough one at that l think personally.

That is a route worth thinking about for this morning run.

Completed my 12 mile LSR this morning. Was a lovely morning to be running and thoroughly enjoyed it apart from feeling like my legs have been run over by a bus now, lol.

This is the highest mileage I've done so far and now beginning to believe a half marathon will be possible next year :D

Any suggestions of nice flat half's?

Good 12 miler Katie,l hope to do that tomorrow. The Clydebank half is flat with a couple of inclines so they say.It is on the 13th March, which l and Charlie and no doubt Kenny and a few others are going to do as a indicator for the spring marathon.

That one sounds perfect as will be just before my 10k training kicks in for MOK. Think Elaine doing this also. Could be a club outing.

l will look forward to this one with you all (Clydebank) as apart from the Mok and marathons, this will be my first race since 1922(lol).

Managed 12 this morning" badly",then again l won't mention Tues/Thurs as it has nothing to do with it,as we know the LSR is the bedrock of endurance running as one goes about building it up slowly. Still tired from Snowdon l hope, anyway l still enjoyed the perfect conditions and the beauty of Kintyre up at Lussa.

The extra bit we are adding on is .7 (1.4 total est) of a mile so it will bring the Penniver run to just under the 13 mile mark, which is ideal if one is starting to push the miles up.

See you Sunday at 8am at the pool.
