Southend Highland Games Ladies 1 Mile Race

This year the Southend Highland Games are adding a new event , a mile race ,open to all us females , so please come along an support this new event . So come on Jog Scotland girls please go along and support this new event !

Not sure what time this will take place but the games open at 6 pm . I would love to be there myself but unfortunately I will be away on holiday .

aye, c'mon girls, come and run the mile race....great prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd (£25, £15 and £10).
Also a 220 yard race for ladies as well. Good prizes for that race too. But it is not about the prizes or winning, it will all be terrific fun as well.

So, roll up, roll up.....please enter, my neck is on the line! I told the committee a ladies Mile Race would be a huge soaraway success and I know it will!

Im def wanting to do the ladies mile and probs even the 220 yard race. I didnt realise you had to enter though?! Where do you enter? I also know quite a few others that are wanting to do it. I think it will be a great laugh, any excuse for a bevy afterwards!
