So looking at the photograph the library is on the LEFT which is the building you are seeing.

Chill Bill. It looked to me that the chap in the photo was turning the corner. Instead he is looking at the library. The lack of railings is what confused me. :roll:

I actually mentioned the lack of railings in my last post,then deleted it as it was too long winded.The railings were removed and used towards the war effort.
Also you will notice the gap in the very low wall where the gate would be if the railings had still been there,and is now once again.

Not too sure if you can make out that we are both holding an ice cream cone(a pokey hat).More noticeable in the original.

I did indeed. It was the absence of the railings that was the initial problem.
