Just wondered if anyone knew what the old cottage up the road from Westport was called ? It looks uninhabited now with the rock against it on the old narrow road. Somebody must own it though. Anyone know its name or owner ?

Can't remember the name, but by pure coincidence, I had a conversation in the not too distant past about that place. It was reckoned to be owned by West Darlochan farm. I have no way to verify this of course, but the other person in the conversation is very knowledgable about the Kintyre area and the Kintyre people. He hasn't let me down before

Crowth as far I know there have been lots of enquiries from locals about this place and the folk who own it have said that it is not for sale. A shame really because it would be a lovely spot.
