My ancestor Archibald Mcconachy lived here with his family in the 1841 census of Killean Parish.
Does anyone have any information either about the place, or about those who have lived there at various times?

Thank you to someone who found a map of Killean parish 1777 on Scotland's people. Most useful.

An interesting site, but it is much simpler than that. An A has dropped out, and the village is now Taychroman, on the coast of Kintyre South of Killean. Scotlands people has a map of the Killean area in 1777 on which it is marked.
