I am looking for information on tenants with the last name of Andrew. David Andrew born in Southend in 1764 - married in 1790 to Elizabeth Mitchell. Children were Archibald, Elizabeth, James, Nancy, Jean, Jennet, David, Mary, William and Margaret. My line is through their son David A. - he was married to Janet Huie. I hope you can help. We were told all were on Eden (Aden) farm.

I had a look at the Farm Horse Tax rolls for 1797 for the Andrew family,

Kilcolmkiln & Kilblaan parish

David Andrew snr, Edan, 4 horses, 3 liable for tax, 6 shillings tax
David Andrew jun, Edan, 2 horses, 2 liable for tax, 4 shillings tax

So the Andrew family were def at Eden farm.
