Does anyone have any information on Andrew Love, a fisherman in Campbeltown, who married Catherine McGill? Their son, Alexander Love born c. 1802 in Campbeltown, married Jean Orr in Kilbirnie, Ayrshire.

I believe some members of the McKinven family and Mackinnon family changed their name to Love at some point. Does anybody know when, and why, they did this?
