Garden Gathering - Campbeltown Community Organic Garden

Postby CCOG » Mon Nov 09, 2009 7:49 pm

You are all invited to the CAMPBELTOWN COMMUNITY ORGANIC GARDEN for a GARDEN GATHERING

This event is so that you can find out more about us and also to let you know about the range of opportunties there are available for volunteering and supporting us.

It is on SATURDAY 14TH NOVEMBER - 1PM TO 3PM
FREE TEAS AND BAKING

Have you ever thought of getting involved with gardening? Well, now’s your chance. Come along to the Garden Gathering and we’ll show you how you can help your garden grow.

We have a beautiful place in a great location overlooking Campbeltown Loch but we can’t keep it looking good and producing healthy, locally grown vegetables, fruit and herbs without more people to dig and weed and build structures.

You don’t need to be an expert gardener to join in – we can help you develop your skills. You don’t need to be a gardener at all to support us – we are always looking for people who can contribute in other ways, such as teaching, office and IT skills, arts and crafts, ecology, catering, keep fit, alternative energy and therapies.

In return for your help we can offer you a share of the yearly harvest of organic fruit and vegetables, good company and a lovely place to be.

This is your garden – help us make it a local treasure and a resource for everyone to use and enjoy.

Come along to the Community Garden, behind Auchinlee Eventide Home, High Askomil, Cambeltown on 14th November and find out more about us.
