Postby Hels » Fri Aug 21, 2009 4:14 pm

Just looking for more info on what is on in the various pubs this weekend? I know about the Argyll and Whisky Macs, buyt not heard anything about the White Hart, or MCgochans, or Burnside ...... Anyone fill in any blanks? Cheers

Hi Hels,
A friend of mine is going to be in AP Taylors over the weekend giving out that sort of info if you want to try there? She might be there just now if you're in town.
See you at the weekend :D

Burnisde have Johnny Hill on tonight, tomorrow night and early Sunday evening.

White Hart have Wee Toon Tellers on tonight, session music tomorrow afternoon (think the McAlister brothers?), somebody on tomorrow night (can't remember) and Cruithne on, on Sunday night which is a good alternative to Survivors Night.

Whisky Macs have A New Hope on tonight, music outside after 6pm tomorrow night and same again Sunday afternoon.

Certainly plenty of music on around town with music in McGochans, Argyll Hotel and the Gluepot too.

The wee music shop on the Longrow has information about most places.

Sorry, something the forum should have covered before now.

Thanks very much folks - as usual this weeekend has come flying in and I don't have a clue what is going on. Going to the Vic Sat and Sun, but got pals visiting for the weekend and want them to see the best the pubs of C'town have to offer too.

Can't miss Johnny Hills banter, so going to kick off there!

Cheers - have a good festival!
