Doors Open days are held in Kintyre every 2 years under the banner of the Kintyre Civic Society. Further details available from 01583 431245 or from the Scottish Civic Trust website at http://www.doorsopendays.org.uk

Campbeltown:
Ardshiel Hotel. Open 11.30am to 3.30pm. Tours at 12 noon and 2pm.
Campbeltown Community Organic Garden, High Askomil. Open 12 noon to 4pm.
Picture House: Guided tours on the hour and half-hour. Open 2pm to 4pm.
Town Hall: Exhibition illustrating the historical architecture of Campbeltown. Small exhibition on the CARS* project.

* Leaflets available in advance from the Burnet Building. Tourist Office and Aqualibrium enable a self-guided tour of the exteriors of building refurbish through the CARS scheme.
