It is with much regret but we are going to have to cancel the Mull of Kintyre Pipe Band Championships held on 2nd May due to the current financial restrictions (only 2 bands have entered). This seems the norm across all competitions with bands only entering the major comps this year. We hope to have it again in the future. We are extremely disappointed but felt we cant carry on with only 2 bands. We are planning to still have the chanter competition which will be held in the Guide Hall on the 2nd May.
